Restaurant la Chaîne d'Or offers a neat gourmet restaurant. The chef, Philippe Lallier, after a stint in the prestigious houses such as Le Camelia at Bougival, La Tour d'Argent in Paris and the restaurant in Saint Pierre Marc Meneau in Vezelay, performs today in he kitchen of the la Chaîne d'Or.
His cuisine is classic, focusing mainly on careful selection of products he wants to put forward simply and without artifice.
His specialties are Sole Rôtie, Heart Sweetbreads or Big macaroon Strawberry. But Philippe Lallier is also daring and take pleasure to surprise you by furnishing a bone of a calf farce Blue Lobster or accompanying fish, he knows how to divinely cook, with a light gravy. His guilty pleasure is to accommodate mushrooms according to the seasons of a roast pigeon or just fried asparagus.
Famous Apple Tart Flambé with Calvados remains to honor the menu, but Philippe Lallier offers many other delicacies like Crispy Fruit or Red Pineapple Roast Victoria.
The restaurant directly overlooks the Seine with its large windows where you can observe the passage of barges or enjoy the ballet of ducks and swans.
